Amapakabo names Ezenwa, Effiong, Alimi, 17 others for Home Eagles’ CHAN clash vs Togo

Home Eagles coach Imama Amapakabo has named 20 players for Nigeria African Nations Championship qualifying match against Togo in Lome on Sunday, the Nigeria Football Federation announced on Wednesday.

Super Eagles goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Enyimba’s Theophilus Afelokhai are in the squad as well as defenders Olisah Ndah, John Lazarus, Etboy Akpan and Ebube Duru.

Striker Ndifreke Effiong, who scored twice against Sudan in the final round of the U-23 AFCON qualifier in Asaba, Mfon Udoh and Tosin Omoyele are also included.

The delegation will fly out of Abuja on Friday to Lome, where they face the Sparrow Hawks at the Stade de Kegue as from 4pm on Sunday.
